This session was such a fun twist on one of my Paint Sessions and one I'll always remember!

We already had a paint session booked in for this beautiful family, but a few weeks before the session they had found out the gender of baby number two with their family. Rather than keeping the session as originally planned, we decided to turn it into a fun paint gender reveal to announce their exciting news on Steph's social media.

The idea was simple but so effective. We started with bright yellow paint Mum's favourite colour which made for a fun and vibrant beginning to the session. Everyone got involved, including Mum, Dad, and of course their gorgeous little girl, who absolutely loved getting messy! There was paint everywhere, plenty of laughter, and so many genuine moments that perfectly reflected their family.

Once everyone was covered in yellow, we introduced touches of pink to reveal that they were expecting another little girl. It was such a special way to share their exciting news, and seeing the joy, laughter, and love throughout the session made it such a privilege to capture.

One of my favourite things about sessions like this is that they're completely unique. They combine the fun and creativity of a paint session with the emotion and excitement of a gender reveal, creating memories that feel authentic and full of personality.

I absolutely loved photographing this session and would love to create more like it. Since I already have everything needed from my Paint Mini Sessions, these are such an easy and fun way to celebrate your growing family in a completely different way.
