When Stacey first messaged me to ask if I could photograph this moment so they could share their exciting news with friends and family, I felt so incredibly honoured. Being trusted with something so meaningful is always the biggest privilege.

Having worked with Stacey the year before for her portrait session and having the best time together—it made this session feel even more special. It was one of those full-circle, pinch-me moments to be asked to capture such an important chapter in her life.

Now living in Hamilton, Stacey chose the beautiful rose gardens next to the Hamilton Botanic Gardens, and it was the perfect location. The soft blooms and romantic setting created the most stunning backdrop, adding such a timeless feel to their images.

These two were so natural together, and their excitement was just contagious. You could truly feel the love and anticipation for what’s ahead, and capturing that was something really special.
