Mikayla Turns Ten
This session was such a special one to capture!
I’ve photographed Mikayla’s birthday sessions for the past three years, so being able to capture such a big milestone her turning TEN was incredibly meaningful.
We always do her sessions at home, and one of the things she loves most is being able to include her favourite dolls. It adds such a personal touch and really captures who she is at this stage in her life.
Because we’re at home, we can also have a bit more fun like bringing out the confetti, which is always a highlight!
It’s so special documenting these moments year after year and seeing just how much she grows and changes. They really do grow up so fast.
Birthday sessions are such a beautiful way to celebrate milestones like this. The best part? I bring everything along —props, setup, and even a cake or cupcake so all you need to do is choose the location and what your little one will wear.
