Even photographers need professional photos! In a world where clients love getting to know the person behind the business before they book, having up-to-date branding images is so important.

For this session, Mia and I swapped roles behind the camera and photographed each other's branding images at her beautiful home studio. It's always so much fun working alongside another photographer because we both understand how valuable these images are and can bounce creative ideas off one another throughout the session.

Branding sessions are all about capturing the person behind the business. They aren't just about taking a nice headshot they're about telling the story of what you do and giving potential clients a glimpse into your personality, your work, and your brand. For Mia, that naturally meant including her camera, one of the biggest parts of her business and everyday life.

Throughout the session, we created a wide variety of images. We photographed Mia using her camera in different ways, captured more relaxed portraits without any equipment, and even included a few lifestyle images with her phone to reflect the behind-the-scenes side of running a photography business.
