This family session was a little different from my usual ones. It wasn’t just about capturing photos it was about giving this family a better experience than they’d had before.

This mama had shared in a local group about a previous experience with a photographer, and honestly, it broke my heart. I couldn’t let that be their lasting memory, so I reached out and offered them a complimentary session  something they could truly enjoy and walk away from with photos to treasure forever.

When I first met them, their little girl was quite reserved, and after what they’d been through, I don’t blame her at all. But with a little time, patience, and a lot of gentle fun, she started to warm up… and by the end, she was having the best time.

A few days after delivering their gallery, I checked in to see how they liked their photos. This was her message and it honestly made my day:

“We are in love with them so much. Thanks heaps.

Hubby has even said he is printing and framing some for me.

I’ll definitely be in contact to book more sessions.

We had a blast — my daughter won’t stop mentioning how much fun she had.”

Moments like this are exactly why I do what I do.

Of course, photography is my business but it’s so much more than that. It’s about creating something meaningful for families. I didn’t grow up with many photos of myself with my loved ones, and I truly wish I had. That’s why I pour so much into what I do to make sure both kids and parents have beautiful memories they can hold onto forever.
