Family maternity sessions are always so special

There’s something so beautiful about capturing a family as they prepare to welcome their newest little love  that in-between stage before everything changes.

This session was part of a collaboration with Mia, so we started by focusing on mama. While we did that, dad and their little boy enjoyed some time down at the beach… and of course I couldn’t resist capturing a few sneaky, candid moments of them together while they waited.

Mama absolutely aced her time in front of the camera, and then it was time to bring everyone together for some family photos.

Their little guy was much more interested in running, exploring, and just being a kid which meant our family images were mostly candid… and honestly, that made them even more special. Real, playful, and full of personality.

We were also so lucky with the weather, especially with baby hinting at arriving a little earlier than expected but thankfully, this little one stayed cozy in mama’s tummy just long enough for us to capture these memories.

Such precious moments for this family to look back on forever
