This session turned into something even more special than I had originally planned!

I was booked to photograph Hudson from Hanging with Hudson and his owner when she asked if I'd also be interested in photographing her friend's two dogs. Of course I said yes! As it turned out, that same weekend her friend was also looking after another friend's dog, which meant I ended up photographing four beautiful dogs all in one session.

Each of them had such different personalities, which made the session so much fun. There was little Hudson, who was a natural poser, sweet Bella the Corgi, adorable senior girl Penny, and Cloud, whose unique grooming made him look just like a little Pikachu.

Throughout the session we captured a wonderful mix of group portraits, photos of Bella and Penny together, and individual portraits of each dog, showcasing their own unique personalities.

One of my favourite images from the session happened completely by chance. After photographing them standing together, Hudson and Bella naturally lay down at either end while Cloud and Penny remained standing in the middle. It wasn't something we planned, but it created the sweetest composition and perfectly captured the magic that can happen when you simply let animals be themselves.
