Dexter Turns Four
Getting to capture this little man’s birthday session every year is so special
Watching how much he has grown and changed between each session is something I never take for granted. These sessions become such a beautiful way to look back and see each stage as it was.
This one was so much fun and really shows how personalised birthday sessions can be.
Dexter can be a little shy and not always keen on photos, so his mama and I chatted beforehand about how we could help him feel more comfortable and bring out his personality. At a previous session he brought along his car, so we included that again and this time, his current obsession with Pokémon too.
Between some classic birthday photos, we added in his favourite things, and it made such a difference. He relaxed, had fun, and we captured him exactly as he is right now. We even took a little break at the playground, which he absolutely loved!
That’s what these sessions are all about capturing your child in this moment, with the things they love most, so you can remember it forever.
