At Memories with Mel, I believe that every client should feel comfortable and confident about how their photos are used. Whether you love seeing your images featured on social media or prefer to keep them completely private, I offer flexible privacy options so you stay in control of your memories.


When you complete your booking form, you’ll be asked to select one of three privacy options — so let’s break down what each one means:


Option A: Full Consent


This option gives Memories with Mel permission to use any and all images from your session for promotional and portfolio purposes.

That may include sharing your beautiful photos on social media, my website, blog, printed materials, or advertising.


Many clients choose this option because they love seeing their photos featured and helping others discover affordable, relaxed, and memorable photography sessions.

It’s also a wonderful way to inspire future clients and show real-life examples of sessions across different ages, locations, and styles.


Option B: Limited Sharing (Client-Approved)


This is a great middle ground for clients who are happy for some of their images to be shared — but with your full say in what goes public.


Here’s how it works:


  • Once your gallery is ready, I’ll send through a shortlist of images I’d love to share.
  • You then choose which ones (if any) you’re comfortable with.
  • A minimum of 15 images must be approved for sharing under this option.
  • This option often includes non-identifiable images such as backs, silhouettes, close-up details, or shots that don’t show faces.


It’s the perfect balance between privacy and participation — your memories are protected, but you can still contribute to the community feel of Memories with Mel.


Option C: Full Privacy (Opt-Out)


If you prefer that your images are not used publicly at all, this option ensures complete privacy.

No photos or videos from your session will be shared on social media, websites, or any other promotional platforms.


Because this option means I can’t use the images to promote my work, a Privacy Fee applies.

This small fee helps cover the impact on marketing and portfolio use while ensuring your images remain 100% private.
