Should you include your little one in your maternity session? My answer is always yes!
One of the questions I'm asked most often is whether children can be included in maternity photos, and I don't just say yes—I highly recommend it. Maternity sessions aren't only about celebrating your growing bump; they're about celebrating your whole family and the exciting new chapter you're about to begin together.
Your little one is about to become a big brother or big sister, and including them in the session is a wonderful way to make them feel involved, important, and excited about the arrival of their new sibling. Some of the sweetest moments come from the cuddles, kisses on the bump, and the genuine excitement children naturally bring to the session.
These are also some of the last memories you'll make as a family of your current size. Before long, your new baby will be here, and everything will change. Having photographs that capture this season the anticipation, the excitement, and the love you already share is something you'll treasure forever.
Of course, we'll also capture beautiful photos of Mum on her own and with her partner, but including your children helps tell the complete story of this special chapter in your family's journey.
