The reason I keep my prices affordable is simple — I want to ensure photography is accessible to everyone, always.
The reason behind this is a very personal and emotional one for me. On my 21st birthday, I received a photo album from my grandparents filled with photos of me over the years. In that album, there were 15 photos. That was all they had of me as a child.
And my mum? She has none at all.
Photos were not something they prioritised. When my father passed away in 2019, I realised I had no photos of me with him as a child and only four of me with him as an adult. This is something that still hurts to this day.
So when I decided to pursue photography, I knew I wanted to make sure everyone could afford to have photos taken — so that every child, every couple, and every family has images to look back on forever.
Photos are what remain when our time on earth is over.
Photos are what we hold onto when we are missing a loved one.
Photos are what we share and show to those closest to us.
Photos are all we have left of someone we can no longer see.
I was reminded of this again in 2025 when my mother-in-law suddenly passed away. Thankfully, I have plenty of photos of her, with her, and with our family. It doesn’t take the pain of losing her away, but it is incredibly comforting to have photos to look back on.
