Another year has come and gone, and a fresh start is here!



This means it's time for new goals, of course! Every year, I take time to set goals across all areas of my life—including my businesses. While I’ve never shared my business goals publicly before, I’ve decided to change that this year.



I like to break my goals into sections to make them easier to view and review. Each month, I reflect on my progress, tick off the things I’ve achieved, and make plans to tackle what’s still on the list.



To keep everything organized, I use a digital planner I’ve created myself. This lets me adjust and add to my goals throughout the year as new ideas come to mind. I’m not someone who sets goals and forgets about them—life evolves, and so do my goals!



General Goals

  • Book and have my own branding session to update my images.
  • Complete 4 out of 8 papers for my course (the remaining 4 will be done in 2026).
  • Buy another camera.
  • Post a monthly reel featuring all sessions from that month.
  • Capture and share more behind-the-scenes (BTS) content.
  • Write and publish 4 blogs per month.
  • Send out a monthly newsletter on the first Monday of every month.
  • Purchase more SD cards.
  • Photograph at least 100 sessions in 2025.
  • Continue to grow my Nomination Program.
  • Connect with local charities to regularly offer free sessions for those in need.
  • Build stronger connections with photographers and other businesses.
  • Have a Christmas "party" with other photographers and small business owners.
  • (The holiday season can feel isolating when you’re the only worker in your business, while others are enjoying work Christmas parties!)

I’m aiming to offer a variety of creative and unique sessions in 2025! Here are some ideas I’m excited to work on:


  • Graduation sessions.
  • Individual sessions.
  • Business/branding sessions.
  • Adult bubble sessions.
  • 30th birthday sessions.
  • Fairy light sessions.
  • Confetti sessions.
  • "Mum and Me" paint sessions.
  • Lavender field sessions.
  • Sunflower field sessions.
  • Individual Christmas sessions.
  • Couples Christmas sessions.

Social Media Goals

In 2025, I’m focusing on building and maintaining my social media presence:


  • Create and start using LinkedIn.
  • Post regularly across all social media platforms.
  • Build my Pinterest account.
  • Grow my TikTok account.
  • Increase my Facebook following by 100 followers.
  • Increase my Instagram following by 150 followers.



2025 is shaping up to be a big year, and I’m so excited to see how much I can achieve!
